Hi, my name is Kamya Agarwal, a filmmaker and photographer based in New York. I am currently studying Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University with minors in Film Production, Creative Writing, and the Business of Entertainment. My journey as a filmmaker began with my first Bollywood film on the big screen — instead of focusing on the actors, I was captivated by the minds behind the story and the craft that brought it to life. Since then, I’ve been working to infuse my projects with that same spark, weaving elements of home and Desi culture into everything I create.
